SUSE Linux Desktops in New Zealand Schools

“The Education Ministry has signed an 18-month software licensing deal with Novell New Zealand, the ministry’s first deal to provide open source software to schools.”

This is so great, I’d really wish danish government would make such a deal, with Novell Denmark, so that we can get rid of Windows machines that can barely start up!
Wise decision by the New Zealand government!
Some analysts say that Linux aren’t ready for the desktop. Well it’s things like this that directly say that they are so wrong! 😀
