“We are pleased to announce the official release of OpenBSD 3.8. This is our 18th release on CD-ROM (and 19th via FTP). We remain proud of OpenBSD’s record of eight years with only a single remote hole in the default install. As in our previous releases, 3.8 provides significant improvements, including new features, in nearly all areas of the system.”
I’ve been playing with OpenBSD for a few days now, and I can’t wait to try out this new one, and I must say that I really like it. Free, Net, Open… BSD ROCKS!!!
If you’re looking to build a very very secure web server box or maybe a hardcore firewall, you should absolutely give OpenBSD a whirl, I like their policies on security which you can read about right here.
Happy Hacking!
