Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird 1.0.6 Released!

“Mozilla Firefox 1.0.6 has been released. As we reported previously, API changes in last week’s Firefox 1.0.5 broke some extensions. This version should resolve the problems.”

“Just days after the release of Mozilla Thunderbird 1.0.5, Thunderbird 1.0.6 is now available for download. This latest version should resolve the extension problems that were accidentally introduced in Thunderbird 1.0.5. In particular, the popular Enigmail PGP add-on should now work correctly.”

Let’s hope they won’t have to do another HOTFIX release next week! 😛
The API bug in 1.0.5 was a stupid error, seriously, stuff like that needs to be found during beta testing!! But what the heck Firefox is a great browser, so I’ll get over it quickly! 😛
By the way, in case your business is using Windows 2000, kick IE’s butt and get Firefox! As you might know, Internet Explorer 7 won’t support Windows 2000, which I think is Micro$uck shooting themselves in the foot.

UPDATE:
If you use SUSE Linux, you can get updated RPMs for Mozilla Firefox & Thunderbird 1.0.6 at ftp.suse.com.
