Intel “gives permission” for firms to buy AMD chips

“The wire claims that Intel has told its OEMs they “are now allowed” to buy AMD microprocessors.”

Seems like AMD’s antitrust lawsuit against Intel, did have some credibility after all. Looks to me like Intel has to force OEMs to sell their chips because they know AMD’s processors are better at the moment, and with Intel talking quietly of building DRM into their CPUs, everyone will go with AMD! ūüėÄ
