On Monday, June 6th, Apple announced that their future Macs will use Intel x86 processors, but they will not allow Mac OS X to be installed on non-Apple hardware.
That said I presume they will use some hardware protection to prevent people, like me, from installing OS X on my Dell machine. Well I say it’s not a matter if, bu when I will be able to do that, somebody out there is definitely gonna crack this protection. Remember when the Xbox first came out, and Microsoft was like “NOBODY IS GONNA CRACK THIS!”, and then two months later Andrew “Bunnie” Huang comes along and cracks it in like two weeks.
