Down for 24 hours
As you might have noticed my site has been down for about 24 hours, I had some issues with my webhost, but that’s all fixed now so let’s move on! 😀

AMD releases budget dual-core Athlon 64
“The Athlon 64 X2 3800+ will run at 2GHz and each core will have a 512KB secondary cache for rapid data retrieval. The chip costs $354 in quantities of 1,000.”
Well, price cuts is always nice, but in the case of the AMD X2 it really needed a budget level chip, because it’s big brothers are and BIG PRICY, it’s like 1200 US dollars for the best AMD64 X2, I know it’s AMD’s best chip at the moment, but still 1200 dollars is crazy! You can get two PCs for that much money nowadays!!
With this budget chip priced at 354$ I think that high school students like myself, will actually be able to afford one, I’d surel like to have one of these, even though it’s not the 4800+ it’s still a very good chip considering the price! 😀
