Systm Episode 3 Released!

“Episode 3 of Systm was just released – it’s called “Making High Quality A/V Cables”.”

Thr great guys at Revision3 has been busy with their online TV shows, they’ve just released Systm episode 3! 😀
The high quality version is very large, 700 MBs!!! Takes a while to download, but sure to be worth it since it’s 45 minutes long, I really look forward to this one, commin’ down the wire via BitTorrent! 😉

UPDATE: Finished watching this movie a couple of hours ago, and I have to say, IT’S GREAT!!! Kudos to Kevin, Dan, Keith and the rest of the Systm crew.

KDE 3.4.2 Released

“The KDE Project today announced the immediate availability of KDE 3.4.2, a maintenance release for the latest generation of the most advanced and powerful free desktop for GNU/Linux and other UNIXes.”

Always nice to have bugs fixed, right? I always run the lastest and greatest KDE, not just because I want the latest and greatest, but also because in newer versions old bugs are sure to be fixed.
If you’re using KDE you may want to consider this new version, just be “fresh” on thigs! 😉

Mozilla Firefox Downloaded 75,000,000 Times

“Spread Firefox is reporting that Mozilla Firefox has been downloaded 75,000,000 times. The 75 millionth download came at 11:17:10am UTC/GMT today. The download count does not include upgrades obtained using Firefox’s in-built software update system.”

Woh, 75 million, that’s a lot of downloads I tell ya. But that just, once again, proves how good a browser Firefox is.
People expect the 100 millionth download of Firefox to happend during October this year, I can’t wait for that one! 😉

FreeBSD ported to the XBox!

“Over the last 2 weeks, I have been working on a port of FreeBSD for the XBox. During this effort, Ed Schouten has given me assistance by reviewing patches and giving advice.”

All I can say is: AWESOME!!!! 😀

Seriously, FreeBSD on the Xbox!
That’s just great, I’ve always wondered why anyone didn’t port FreeBSD to the Xbox, finally it happend, thank you Rink Springer! 😀
