“Since the Nintendo DS launched in Europe on the 11th March 2005, it has achieved record-breaking sales – with 500,000 units sold in its first three weeks alone. From this point, Nintendo DS purchases have ‘skyrocketed’ to shatter the one million mark in under three months.”
To me, this is not surprising. Nintendo really knows their stuff when it comes to handhelds!

“Some nine weeks after the official release of SUSE LINUX 9.3, an installable DVD image of the product has been released to SUSE’s download mirrors. SUSE is one of the leading Linux distributions on the market; its latest release is compiled from over 1,000 popular software packages and provides an early look at some emerging technologies, such as Xen virtualisation and Beagle desktop search.”
I’ve been running SUSE 9.3 since it came out, and I must say, it’s awesome and I can highly recommend it if you wanna get rid of Windows, SUSE 9.3 is absolutely an excellent choice among the many Linux distributions out there.

“NVIDIA’s new 7800 GTX is not only faster than its predecessor the 6800 Ultra, but it requires 50% percent less power from your power supply…”
This is great, I think I might actually get this one, when it comes down in price, 600 dollars would kill my pockets!

“Almost a week after Killer-X and the PSP-Dev team released the revolutionary Swaploit v0.1, they seem to be at it again. Their website states that on the 22nd of June (tomorrow), at 12:00 GMT, they will be releasing a new version of this awesome program. Is this is the end of memory stick swapping?”
As people say, it’s not a matter IF, but WHEN something digital, with ANY sort of copy protection, gets cracked!

“By using a few third party patches, a gamer has been able to run Doom 3 on an AMD XP 1800+, 256 MB of RAM, and two vintage Voodoo 2 PCI video cards. It looks like a completely different game, though it still is, apparently, very playable with 60 FPS. You MUST check out the screenshots.”
I couldn’t even get Quake III to run smooth at higher resolutions with my old Voodoo2, but Doom3!!!

“According to The Inquirer, the AMD Athlon FX-57 CPU is supposed to make an appearance, in third week of June, at the same time with unveiling of upcoming nV’s latest baby, G70.
It’s rumoured, but as yet unconfirmed name is the GeForce 7800.”
Personally, I’m not too excited about the FX-57. With the typical pricing, of a new FX-chip being around 800 to a 1000 dollars, dual-core processors just around the corner and AMD already planning quad-core processors, who’s really gonna buy the FX-57???
